Baker with his buddy and muse Kelly Brook back in 2015 when the British actress and television presenter was living in LA. This was taken after their visit to a West Hollywood tattoo parlor where he got her name tattooed on his hand.

I worked with British photographer Damon Baker (he now lives in LA) when I was the founding Editor in Chief of FourTwoNine magazine. I assigned him his first cover story in America when he shot Jared Leto and his brother Shannon from their band “Thirty Seconds to Mars” for the magazine’s “Family Issue.”  He also photographed covers on James Franco for the “Conceptual Issue,” and Jonathan Groff for our “Boys of Summer” one.  He photographed style icon Amy Fine Collins and her daughter Flora in vintage Geoffrey Beene to accompany an essay that Amy wrote remembering Mr. Beene.  And he did a photo spread on Courtney Love.   Baker’s work has also appeared in, among other magazines, Attitude, L’Officiel, L’Officiel Homme, Madame, Playboy, Numero Homme, Interview, Glamour, Paper, Elle, Wonderland, and GQ.  His commercial work has included campaigns for Omega watches, Emporio Armani, VHI, Adidas, L’Oreal, and Harrod’s. You can follow him on Instagram @damon_baker and become one of his 1,000,000 followers.
